The working principle of biomass gas power generation units is based on thermochemical conversion. Raw materials such as straw and sawdust react under anaerobic conditions in a gasifier, producing combustible gases mainly composed of carbon monoxide, hydrogen, and methane. After pre-treatment such as dust removal and cooling, pure biomass gas is sent to the generator set for combustion and power generation. Taking the biomass gasification coupled power generation unit of Hubei Huadian Xiangyang Company as an example, the equipment can "eat" 8 tons of agricultural and forestry waste per hour and produce green electricity.
